Caroline joins OCE
Fresh from her intimacy training, Caroline Bryant has recently joined OurCreativeEdge (OCE)! A vibrant membership hub that brings together some of the most experienced voices in theatre, film, TV, and radio drama. Founded by acclaimed actor, writer, and producer Tanya Franks, OCE is a dynamic community of creatives with decades of industry experience. It offers a space to spark new ideas, forge collaborations, and continue pushing creative boundaries.
Caroline is thrilled to be part of such an inspiring network and looks forward to the conversations and opportunities ahead.
Thrive Walking Sessions
We hosted 8 community Walk and Write sessions for women over the summer with The Bridge. Each session we explored the London Bankside area with the participants, to garner inspiration for our creative writing exercises. As a result, we received immense positive feedback from participants, with more than 70% saying the sessions increased their well-being and creativity!
LSE Interns
This summer, we partnered with the London School of Economics (LSE) to invite two paid interns to join our team! Maaya and Vivian were amazing help in the office, we were delighted to support their professional growth and nurture their love for theatre. We believe all interns should be fully compensated for their hard work, and as these interns were fully funded by LSE, we were delighted to help make our internships accessible for young women at the start of their careers.
Caroline Completes Training
In July, Artistic Director Caroline completed the Intimacy Direction Certification programme with IDC! She is currently Certification Pending and will complete ten professional days as an Intimacy Director to receive full certification.
This training builds on Futures' commitment to consent forward and trauma-informed practice and is already informing how we think about artist care, audience care and ethical storytelling.

We are so proud to announce that we were awarded an Offie in the Industry and Inclusion category for Argos Archives.

Our awards was in the Best Fiction category. We’re so honoured to have received another award for Fully Amplified.
A huge congratulations to the team and to all the nominees!
We’re back with another special podcast episode to celebrate the final tour of Offside. We spoke to the inimitable Steppers WOC WFC who brought hilarity and honesty to the table. Bolstered by incredible lyricism and poetry from the writers of OFFSIDE, Sabrina Mahfouz and Hollie McNish.
After two critically acclaimed tours in 2017 & 2018, Sabrina Mahfouz & Hollie McNish's electric OFFSIDE is back for a third and final tour of theatres and football clubs, to celebrate the Women's European Football Championship.
Offside is back!
In recognition of International Women’s Week, Futures took part in the Women and Girls Match Fund and raised £5140, with each donation matched by The Big Give.
Thank you to all our supporters who donated. Your money will support our engagement work for marginalised women and non-binary people.
Though International Women’s Week is over, we still require money year-round to support our work - if you’d like to help, please consider making a donation.
Fundraising success!
